It was actually my memoir, Shoulders to the Trees, that inspired the title for this blog (Life Happens Then Write). Oh, and having a son with Down syndrome! Yeah, life happens all right! But don't let it stop you from writing, OK, maybe momentaryily (hence the words, THEN WRITE). Is it writer's block? Or is it life giving you something powerful to write about?
